Granby PTA Needs New Treasurer

Our PTA is in great need of a new Treasurer for next school year. Our current Treasurer has served for three years, and according to the PTA bylaws can not do it again.

The position requires making deposits, writing checks and keeping the checkbook register in Quicken. It also involves printing the monthly reports for and attending the monthly PTA meetings. The Treasurer, as part of the Executive Board, helps plan the budget for the school year. The Treasurer also helps get the change before PTA fundraising events and often helps count the money after an event. It requires approximately one hour per week. No professional accounting skills required, just a desire to help the PTA and be able to keep track of the check book. Training happily provided by outgoing Treasurer, Michelle Maghes.

Please contact Michelle at 793-9020 if you would like more information.

As always, thank you for your support of PTA during this school year.
Please consider helping us so that we can make the next school year a successful one, too!

Web Site Upgraded

As you can see, the web site looks completely different. That's because I've upgraded the software that runs the site, and I need to re-do all of the style modifications I made to the old version.  As soon as they're done, you'll know just by looking.

In the meantime, I thank you for using the Granby PTA web site, and also for your patience while I complete the upgrades.

Len.
