The Granby PTA members are aware that children who have adults in their lives who are interested and involved in their school perform better and have a more positive experience at school. We value our teachers and staff at Granby; we know they are dedicated and very special people. Granby PTA is dedicated to supporting and enhancing our children’s school experience by providing volunteers throughout the school, learning materials, technology, special events, and offering our teachers and staff mini-grants, classroom volunteers, books, and many other enrichment opportunities. We are an active and dedicated organization that welcomes every teacher, parent, grandparent, and guardian as a vital member. We’d love to have you as an interested adult, or as an active volunteer with one hour a year to give…or a hundred hours…everyone is welcome!

Granby PTA volunteers can be found in every corner of the school, helping staff, teachers, and children by reading and practicing math with children, shelving library books, decorating classrooms for changing seasons, serving meals, supervising the snack table and school store, and many other active roles at Granby.

Granby PTA fundraising supports the Science Fair, COSI on Wheels, Destination Imagination teams, Reflections, artist and author visits, library books, classroom books, technology purchases, lamination of artwork and teaching aids, Fun Day, owl pellets for dissection, new and safer playground equipment, mini-grants for teacher to buy classroom materials, 6^th grade camp, New Families folders with information and welcome for new Granby Gators, Senior Tea for graduating seniors to come back to Granby and visit treasured teachers and friends before going off to college or work, our lovely landscaping, and much more.
